I hope this is a Happy New Year for you so far! This is the first Jerky Journal of 2012. We will be making some changes over the next few months and one change will be to send the Jerky Journal out TWO TIMES per MONTH. Other than this one, we are going to try to send it on the 10th & 25th of each month. Soon we will be going to an automated blog service, so stay tuned for that.
2012 has brought about a new hope and new goals and a renewed excitement. At My Jerky Shop you will find some new flavors and types of meat coming soon. The long awaited Kangaroo will be the first NEW ITEM to arrive. You’ll have to hop on over to try some. We have some new flavors of beef, buffalo, yak and elk arriving too. Have you ever had lamb jerky? Baaaa… Ostrich will be running in soon as well. Ostriches don’t fly, but they run fast.
What’s Hot? Alligator still amazes me how well it sells. Wild Boar has become a big seller too. Whenever someone tries it, they almost always buy it. Honey Glazed Beef, Red Hot Beef, Kik Butt Buffalo, Venison Sausage sticks and a few others are all hot sellers too.

January 19th is National Pop Corn Day – we will have
Free fresh made pop corn all day long. No purchase necessary.
January 30 to February 4th we will have a Super Bowl Sale.

You can make all kinds of delicious hor dourves with jerky. We will have free samples during the week and free recipes available.
